I went in to order my daughter's birthday cake, gave detailed instructions on what I wanted, and was quoted a price FIVE days before I needed it. "No problem." Is what I was told. I sent in the SAME picture I showed the "CAKE ARTIST." I go to pick the cake up, and pay the quoted price for the ugliest goth dracula cake I've ever seen in my life! I was in tears in the store! I don't even want to taste it because I'm afraid it will taste like death!
My niece has a lot of food allergies (corn, egg, dairy and gluten). We literally tried every single bakery in the Fort Worth area who was willing to accommodate the allergies. Not only did Bake Divas bend over backwards to get us a birthday cake for our very last minute party, but the cake was AMAZING. The rest of the family couldn't believe it was an allergy-free cake because the texture and taste were perfect. After a couple wonderful allergy-free cakes and great customer service experiences, I've stopped my bakery quest - what's the point? Nothing could be better than this!! I don't even care that it is 35 min from our house.
I came in for a cake tasting today, and not only was the lady with the dog super rude, but she acted so uninterested in helping us. She did not greet us when we came in, and when we informed her we were there for a cake tasting she said "I don't know anything about that" in a very rude tone. When we were finally helped we found out they had written down the tasting for the wrong day. My mom was the one to reschedule the tasting from the 23rd to August 1st, and I know she told them the first because she successfully rescheduled another cake tasting that we attended this morning. I honestly just couldn't get over how rude the lady with the dog was. I definitely will be taking my business elsewhere.
Cheryl did a great job on our Sea Turtle Groom's Cake. My son loved it, it was a hit at the reception and the cake was so good. We had Strawberry Cake. Thank you for helping me pull off the surprise.
RESPONSE TO OWNER: If that is how you respond to customer conplaints then I'm glad I didn't get to taste your cakes and trust yall with my wedding cake. Kristen was kind and apologized for the confusion but YOU were rude. Take responsibility for your actions and apologize.
I’ve ordered from Bake Divas twice now and both times have had a great experience! I live out of state and like to have baked goods delivered to my Mom in Crowley for special occasions. The staff are always very personable and knowledgeable on the phone, and deliver a great product exactly when they say they will. Since I live far away, it’s great having a locally owned company that I can rely upon when I want to send something nice to my Mom. Thanks, Bake Divas!
