NEVER. EVER. GO TO HERBERT'S!!! I would give this place no stars if possible. I took my car in, it needed a new water pump, and timing belt, and some other car repairs that were smaller (spark plugs, etc.). They "replaced" all of those and wanted $1200. So we dished it out, because we HAD to have a car, as we were riding our bike to work. 1 month later, the car broke down again; we took it back. This time it is "the transmission" so they want $750. I said no. I'd rather buy a new car than pay more money for my old one. So we went without a car for several months bumming rides and riding bikes. Finally bought a new one. Sold the one that needed work for EXTREMELY cheap, and the man that I sold it to called me (he's a mechanic) and said all he did was replace the timing belt (which they supposedly replaced one month earlier, and would have been under warranty when we took the car back) and the car was running great. This shop just didn't want to do any work for free, because the timing belt was under warranty. Which cause my family to waste over $3000 in repairs and getting a new vehicle. I have all the proof for this situation, and I will be contacting the better business bureau, and lawyers, to see if there is a way to sue.
