I whent there last Thursday with my son. He was shaking and having twitches. First sintoms of epilepsy wich is hereditary. The male nurse on the front desk treat us so horrible. My son couldn't even walk from how tire this episodes leaves him. The nurse told me to take him some where else that there was nothing they could do for my son because he wasn't having a seizure right there and there. I kept telling him that I was trying to prevent that and all the nurse keep repeating was we can't take him, take him some where else and ask me if we even had health insurance. I was on tears at this point. I walk out of there on disbelieve. I have been there before and use to recommend this hospital A LOT but I have never been treated this way. The security guy that was there, he was baffle of how the nurse was treating us and all the secure guy keep saying was, "I'm sorry ".
I had a very good experience here last weekend. I went in with what turned out to be pneumonia and I didn't have to fill out anything at the front desk, they took me right back. The doctor was very nice and informative, as were all of the nurses and staff that helped me. They answered all my questions and i feel that they were very thorough when looking for a diagnosis.
Then my daughter calls me that she is there. It takes me about 20 minutes to get there and they are already sending her home. They didn't know what the rash was, but they wrote scripts for antibiotics and Benadryl. They didn't do any swabs of the infected area to even find out what is was. The Dr said she wasn't contagious...how does she know this when she doesn't even know what the rash is? I asked her if her script is the same as the Benadryl over-the-counter, she says yes. So I'm supposed to go buy 14 pills of Benadryl through the pharmacy instead of buying a whole bottle for under $5.00??
I went in with some very serious concerns. The Dr. patiently listened, and prescribed what was best for my needs. I was seen quickly, and not left to wallow in worry. When it was time to go home everything was explained to me, so that I could continue my treatment at home. Loved the quick but thorough service.
This ER sucks. Their "treatment" is pathetic. My bf went there with a deep cut and they only stitched him up and sent him home. No pain meds and no antibiotics to prevent infection. I called a few hours later and they wouldn't give him anything unless he went to the ER again. Really??? Another ER visit bill to get scripts they should have written in the first place.
Just tried to take my son in, walked in and lights were off like it was closed, and no staff at the front desk. I stood there for a few minutes and even said something to let them know I was waiting, I could hear them talking in another room, but no one came out to greet me. So I left, and now having to drive my son across town to a different ER center. Guess I should have read the reviews before I came here.
They need to give complete care, not half-ass treatment.
You want to know why they are never full with patients?? They suck and everyone avoids this place.
